  • MOTION: Allocate $500 for attendance at local conferences with a Neighborhood Council purpose or focus.

  • MOTION: We, the Palms Neighborhood Council, with 30,000 stakeholders in Los Angeles, hereby support Proposition 37, the California Right to Know Genetically Engineered Food Act, and urge the adoption of Los Angeles City Council resolution 12-0002-S67 proposed by Councilmember Paul Koretz in support of Prop 37. The PNC will write a letter for the Council resolution and add its name as a supporter of Proposition 37.
  • MOTION (presented by Father Vincent Shamo, St. Mary’s of Palms): The Palms Neighborhood Council allocates $1500 to support St. Mary’s Parish public sitting area and WiFi zone. Request letter attached and supporting documents will be available at the meeting.
  • MOTION (presented by April Monroe, Hamilton High School): The Palms Neighborhood Council allocates $3000 in support of field trip funding for Hamilton High School’s Bilingual Program. Request letter attached and supporting documents will be available at the meeting.
